Mead Fellowships, Scholarships & Final Project Awards, University of the Arts London

Each year University of the Arts London (UAL) students and recent UAL graduates are invited to apply to the Mead Fellowships and Final Project Awards, designed to support the development of their creative practice.

With over 200 applications received each year, the Awards have become highly coveted and provide creative project grants to students and graduates at a crucial time in their careers. Awardees complete ambitious and aspirational projects which will contribute to the advancement of their industry / discipline and will have a positive impact on their own practice. To date there have been 44 Mead Scholars, Fellows and Final Project Award recipients from across the six UAL colleges; Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, London College of Communication, London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Arts.

For 2019, the Scholarship has been developed into the Mead Final Project Award. The new award is designed to encourage more applications by students who face financial barriers. The Mead Final Project Award will support students to achieve their final degree project to their highest ambitions.
